It’s hard to imagine how many fellows, grantees, colleagues and friends John Archabal has had the pleasure to serve and learn from over his amazing 35-year career with the Bush Foundation.
On the occasion of his departure from the Foundation, we’ve created several ways for you to reflect on your interactions with John or the Foundation, and to wish him well.
Write John a letter! We will make sure John sees your letter when it arrives and then will place it in a memory book so he can enjoy it for years to come. (Please note it is against the Foundation’s policy for employees to accept gifts.)
Send your letter to John Archabal, Bush Foundation, 332 Minnesota Street, Suite E-900, Saint Paul, MN 55101.
Tell your grant or fellowship story! We hope you’ll share your remembrances of the impact of your fellowship or grant on you, your organization or your community. As the stories come in, we’ll be sharing them with John and posting them to a web page where others can enjoy them.
Inform your community! Newspapers need good things to print, and your op-ed about what you learned during your fellowship or the impact a Bush Foundation grant had on your community might be just the good news people need to hear. We’re hoping that through May and June you will submit your op-eds to your local newspapers.
(We’d love to let John know about any op-eds that get printed—just email our Communications Department.
Thanks for helping us say goodbye to our coworker and friend, John Archabal. We will certainly miss his wisdom and great smile.
