The following Bush Fellows were in the news in June/July 2011:

  • Poets Sean Hill ('05) and Sun Yung Shin ('07) received Emerging Writers grants from the Loft Literary Center.
  • Storyteller Kevin Kling('88 & '03) and musician Larry Long ('95) Celebrate Dad on June 18 at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis. 
  • A new exhibit by watercolorist Galen Martini ('77) — Psyche's Vivid Message — runs through July 10 at the Whitby Gallery at St. Benedict's Monastery in St. Joseph, MN.
  • Kathy Mouacheupao ('11) - in the news on Twin Cities Daily Planet discussing her upcoming Fellowship
  • Irish musician Paddy O'Brien('06) released his new CD, The Sailor's Cravat.
  • The first New York City solo exhibit of Megan Rye ('10), I Will Follow You into the Dark,runs through July 15 at the Forum Gallery.
  • Tom Schroeder ('06) has taken numerous prizes for his film Bike Race at festivals in California, Minnesota and New Jersey.
