• Minot Daily News reports on the release of a book about the work of Native flutemaker Dan Jerome ('10)
  
• Mary Ellen Childs ('89 & '99) and Morgan Thorson ('00) were among 50 artists selected from across the nation to receive prestigious $50,000 United States Artists fellowships.
• Robert Derus ('88) became the interim city administrator for Annandale, MN in November.
• Chris Eyre ('07) to chair film department at Santa Fe University of Art and Design’s film department

• Patricia Ohmans ('11) received the City of Saint Paul's Gardening Advocate award, which is given "to an individual whose actions have been exemplary in promotion and supporting gardening efforts in Saint Paul."
