BIOGRAPHY

John Fetzer joined the staff in November 2011 after four years of working for United States Senator Kent Conrad in Washington, D.C.  He got his start in Senator Conrad's office through the Udall Foundation's Native American Congressional Internship Program.  After graduating from North Dakota State University in 2007, John was hired as a staffer in the senator's Washington office, where he worked on Indian Affairs, housing, and energy policies.  Working with tribal nations to advance their legislative priorities was a special privilege for him. John grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota, where he developed a love for the outdoors.  He is a devoted fan of the Twins and Vikings, even if they disappoint him often.
