When the Bush Foundation made its first grants to individuals in 1965, its goal was the same as it is today—to find exceptional people and support their development as leaders.
Now celebrating 60 years of investing in great ideas and the people who power them, the Foundation has renewed its commitment to support and develop more leaders who are better equipped and better networked to effectively lead change.
A Bush Fellowship provides individuals with opportunities to demonstrate and improve their capacity for leadership as they learn by doing. The work of the Fellowship is to blend opportunities for personal development with efforts to effectively engage with others to create positive change within their communities.
We are seeking leaders who have already demonstrated exceptional gifts, who could benefit from intensive development through self-designed or academic programs, and who are committed to making the region a better place.
