Upon selection, we will be asking each Rebuilder to make a significant commitment to this two-year program: to attend all and entire Rebuilder sessions; actively participate, communicate and learn with other participants; actively share knowledge with his or her government; develop and implement nation-building action plans; and participate consistently in ongoing Rebuilders’ activities throughout the two-year period. Meet the Rebuilders.
The next round of applications for the Native Nation Rebuilders program will open July 1, 2013. Please email John Fetzer of the Native Nations Team or call the Bush Foundation offices at 651-227-0891 if you wish to be including on our announcement email list. You can also "like" the Bush Foundation on Facebook or follow the Bush Foundation on Twitter to receive the announcement.
To apply, you must be at least 25 years of age; an enrolled citizen of one of the 23 Native nations in the Bush Foundation region; live in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota; and be significantly engaged in your nation's work. The Foundation reserves the right to select a limited number of Rebuilders who do not meet all of these criteria; however, all applicants must be an enrolled member of one of the 23 nations.
