BIOGRAPHY

Julie joined the Foundation in February 2009 after many years working in various administrative support roles. She finds her work on the Native Nations team exciting and challenging, given the Foundation's new direction in the way they work with tribes. “Working with the tribal leaders and communities requires a genuine passion that comes from within. We work with so many wonderful people in those communities. They have much to offer, and I continue to learn a great deal from them about their hopes, needs, ways of life and cultures.”

Julie grew up on her family’s farm in rural Wisconsin and has lived on both the East and West Coasts. She has always had a passion for working with animals and enjoys educating others about them. Julie would like to travel the world and volunteer her time to help animals and people in need.
