BIOGRAPHY


Peter Pennekamp is executive director of the Humboldt Area Foundation (HAF), an organization distinguished for its work at the intersection of community philanthropy and community development. HAF has been recognized as a national leader in framing and implementing community action on social, economic and environmental concerns. Past employment includes vice president of National Public Radio and director of the Interarts program of the National Endowment for the Arts (both in Washington, D.C.).

Peter provides the Bush Foundation Board with hands-on knowledge of foundations, on-the-ground community action and a rural perspective.
