BIOGRAPHY
The majority of my background has been in the nonprofit world, whether giving pesticide safety trainings to migrant farm workers in rural Iowa, conducting basic health check-ups with a traveling clinic, or assisting individuals and families in applying for the Minnesota Public Health Care programs (MNCare/MA, etc.).
I love being active in all ways possible (though hate the confines of a gym). If there were more time in a day I would spend it writing, painting and music-making.
I have a B.A. in Spanish and international studies from Iowa State University and have completed coursework for a master’s in public health at the University of Minnesota.
