Mechele Pitt, BS, MSSW, LCSW, LICSW, Chief Executive Officer at Anu Family Services, has been working in the child welfare field since 1992. Mechele joined Anu in 2006 and most recently served as the Executive Director. Mechele has her Masters in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Mechele is currently pursuing her doctorate in education in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California. Mechele is a contributing author to the book Present Moment Parenting: The Guide to Life with Your Intense Child. Mechele has 15 years of teaching experience at the University of Wisconsin Madison Graduate School of Social Work and at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Mechele is a Certified Strengths Coach and provides training and consultation in the areas of strength based supervision practices, organizational wellbeing, self-care and resiliency in the helping profession, and ethics and boundaries.
