As a Grantmaking Officer, Rudy looks for ideas and people that can make our region better for everyone. Rudy and the rest of the team review proposals and manage community relationships to be open and responsive. He is ready to talk with people who have ideas or questions for any of our grant programs. He enjoys helping people “think bigger” and sharing what he has learned during his 20 years of work in grantmaking, program development experience, and nonprofit capacity building.
Rudy joined the Foundation in 2018 after serving as a Peace Corps Response Volunteer in the Ukraine in 2017. Prior to that, he managed grants in youth development as a Senior Program Officer at Youthprise. In his spare time, Rudy enjoys traveling, attending cultural events, and biking.
