Maya Beecham

Strategy and Learning Coordinator

Maya joined Bush Foundation in November 2013, and coordinates the daily functions of the Education Team. Her work at the Foundation has been a valued step in a life-long learning journey, converging education, community, and resources. She is a firm believer that community partnerships are vital to the sustainability of a strong legacy, and the effective development of future generations. 

Prior to coming to the Foundation she worked at Youthprise, an intermediary organization focused on increasing leadership and innovation beyond the classroom through empowering youth. Additionally, Beecham spent several years working in the field of service-learning at a national nonprofit based in Minnesota.

A native of the historic Rondo Community of St. Paul, Minnesota, and a graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall High School and Hamline University where she earned a BA in communication studies. In her spare time Maya is a writer and artist.
