We believe in the power of events to inspire, equip and connect people to think bigger and think differently about what is possible in our communities.
We offer scholarships for individuals from our region — Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the 23 Native nations that share the same geography — to attend national events and conferences, where they can:
- Step out of their daily routines.
- Build new connections both within the region and beyond.
- Develop leadership skills.
- Be inspired to think bigger and think differently about their work.
- Contribute their voices and perspectives to national conversations.
We hope to make these opportunities available to the most diverse array of people possible, across geography, sectors and demographics. In 2019, we are supporting scholarships to the Aspen Ideas Festival, PopTech, SOCAP and Upswell. We invite you to apply for the experience/s you would benefit from and contribute to the most. We also encourage you to share this opportunity with others in your network.
If you have questions about event scholarships, please email us at email@example.com.
Accepting applications through December 20, 2019
MARCH 10-12, 2020 | MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA
The Forum on Workplace Inclusion’s three-day annual conference is a premier learning opportunity at the cutting edge of the diversity, equity and inclusion landscape. The theme for 2020, Facing Forward, will center around four pillars of content: New Perspectives, Universal Innovation, Future Fluency and Global Citizenship.
This scholarship opportunity is open to people who live in Minnesota and who are looking to build their networks and their skills to lead more equitably. Those selected to attend will also be invited to special programming with our Minnesota Change Network participants from the past two years, which is a group of people committed to learning how to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds to lead change more equitably and inclusively.
