Scholarship Opportunity: Aspen Ideas Festival


The Aspen Ideas Festival is the nation's premier public gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that shape our lives and challenge our times.

Program tracks this year will include Feeling the Heat: The Big Ideas on Climate; Global Conflicts: Are There Paths to Peace?; Inside Creativity; Making It in the USA; The America I Know; The Art of Change; and Thinking About the Thinking Machine.

The Bush Foundation is funding scholarships for 25 people from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the 23 Native nations in the region to attend the 2017 Aspen Ideas Festival.

Each Bush Foundation scholarship will cover registration and meals, four nights of hotel costs, and travel to and from the event to be booked by the Aspen Institute's travel agent.

Scholarship recipients will be invited to a special Bush Foundation event during the Festival where they can connect with one another.

This scholarship is being administered by the Aspen Institute, and recipients will be selected by an Aspen Institute committee. Applicants must be 21 years old by the event date to participate.
