Pine Ridge, SD — Native Nations Rebuilders Program (cohort 6) - CeCe has worked in the research field since 1997, most of those years with the University of Colorado Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health. She has co-authored the ordinance establishing the Oglala Sioux Tribe Research Review Board and is a current member of the Board. She has helped establish several health programs, including a large oral health research study, a Native American Research Centers for Health grant and a mobile clinic. Since 1992, CeCe has served on the board of directors of Visions of SuAnne Big Crow, the local boys and girls club that was named to honor the memory of her sister. She earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of South Dakota in 1998. CeCe is especially passionate about any program that empowers Native people to live healthy lives. She is the mother of two and grandmother of six.

South Dakota
