Tracy Sides

My East Side neighborhood is home to some of the most beautiful natural areas in the city, yet it is recovering from decades of economic struggle. I aspire to create opportunities related to food, people and the land that engage and empower members of my community to achieve better health, a greater sense of connectedness and more economic prosperity. I will use my fellowship to help transform the area in and around the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary into a vital and thriving center that benefits the community and the land.
