Grant for Face It TOGETHER Sioux Falls

Film by Passenger Productions
Face It TOGETHER Sioux Falls is a revolutionary, highly collaborative, community-based approach to helping people with drug and alcohol addiction get well.
In contrast to traditional treatment methods, Face It Together uses a non-clinical, peer-to-peer addiction management support approach. Skilled recovery coaches provide long-term support while trained volunteers regularly connect with clients to help them identify challenges and community resources that can support their recovery. The program’s rate of recovery one-year after treatment far outpaces the national average.
By engaging health care systems, health insurance companies, addiction treatment providers and other sectors, Face It Together creates a community architecture that both removes barriers to receiving addiction care and supports long-term addiction wellness. Unlike other recovery organizations in the nation, Face It Together is privately sustained by area employers who see a return on that investment in higher productivity, improved safety, lower attrition, decreased absenteeism and improvements in health care costs.
