Minneapolis, MN — To solve the need for better access to affordable, culturally competent, quality early childhood education services (ECE) in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood (West Bank)
The Big Idea
The Cedar Riverside Neighborhood Revitalization Project initiative plans to improve area access to quality early childhood education—something readily found in Minneapolis’ more affluent communities. The group will promote community-wide conversations about the importance of addressing early childhood issues. The initiative wants to engage a representative mix of residents and community leaders who will identify priorities and create workplans that envision culturally responsive, accessible programs for neighborhood children.
