Minneapolis, MN — To continue the revitalization of indigenous languages through building families of Ojibwe speakers
The Big Idea
Ojibwe speakers and learners need daily connections to each other, both in the classroom and at home. This is especially critical for the next generation of young Ojibwe language learners. Grassroots Indigenous Multimedia will support a growing community of families who are engaged in the language revitalization movement. Seven tribal communities will share their ideas for a series of activities, language camps and curriculum materials that promote family language learning.
