To develop a Collaborative Process for Landscape Conservation in Western North Dakota

The Big Idea

World Wildlife Fund's Northern Great Plains initiative wants to bring ranchers, conservationists, oil business developers and government officials together for the future of North Dakota’s badlands. The initiative hopes to develop a shared vision and plan for energy development that also protects important parts of this landscape. The project aims to support a collaborative process that helps local communities have a voice in how their natural resources are developed, enjoyed and shared.
