Greg is the Chief Financial Officer at the Bush Foundation. He oversees the work of the Foundation’s finance and accounting, investment and program operations teams. He also works with the grants team in sourcing, selecting and managing the Foundation’s program-related investments.
Greg started with the Foundation in 2007, after 30 years in various financial roles starting with a CPA firm and including several Nasdaq-traded businesses. He is a board member and past chair of Opportunity Partners - a nonprofit serving developmentally disabled adults - and is a member of the Minnesota Council on Foundations’ Finance and Administration Committee. He has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota.
Greg grew up in Chicago and spent a few great years in Iowa City. He has lived in Minneapolis with his wife, Susan, for 30+ years. They like more than anything to kayak on a calm lake at sunset. They have two married children, Patrick and Stephen.
