Lori Lea Pourier

Lori Lea Pourier, (Oglala Lakota) has served as the President/CEO, First Peoples Fund (FPF) since 1999. She has nearly 30 years of experience in community economic development with a specific emphasis on Native arts and culture revitalization within tribal communities.

Prior to joining FPF, she served as the Executive Director of the International Indigenous Women’s Network. She represented IWN at international platforms including the United Nations. Her career began at First Nations Development Institute where she led the national tribal-based arts program for nearly 10 years.

She was awarded the Women’s World Summit Foundation’s 2013 Women’s in Creativity in Rural Life Award. She holds a Master of Science from New Hampshire College Graduate School of Business. She is the mother of Shahela Pourier Eyre.
