Megan joined the Bush Foundation in 2015. In her role as a Communications Program Manager, she oversees the Foundation’s event strategy that aims to inspire, equip and connect leaders throughout the region. She produces bushCONNECT, the Foundation’s leadership networking event; manages the Event Sponsorship program; and builds partnerships to support and host cohorts from our region at national events.
Previously, Megan served as the communications director for The World Food Prize Foundation, where she worked to highlight and educate people about international food security, agriculture and hunger issues. Prior to that, she was the communications director for the Iowa Association of School Boards, and before that, was a reporter at The Des Moines Register. The through line in all of her work is that she’s curious about big issues and loves nothing more than meeting people doing good in the world and helping to connect them.
Megan lives with her husband and two kiddos in Minneapolis. They love exploring new places, reading good books and general adventuring.
