As Program Operations Director, Molly provides strategic and day-to-day leadership of our operations. She partners with staff to consider how our grantmaking practices and use of technology can maximize our impact and improve the experience of our applicants, grantees and partners. Molly is excited to have a job focused on advancing equity and creating positive impact with how we do our grantmaking. Before this role, Molly helped create and direct the Foundation’s Community Innovation programs. She joined the Bush Foundation in 2011.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Molly spent 12 years working with nonprofit organizations including HIV/AIDS service organizations, a meal delivery program for people with chronic and progressive illness and multiple international development organizations. She has also been an adjunct professor at St. Thomas University, where she co-taught a class about community action and social change. She is currently on the board of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits.
Molly and her partner, Eric, love being parents to Magnolia and Josephine. Molly dabbles in gardening, photography and other attempts to create art and beauty at their home in the Central neighborhood of South Minneapolis.
