Naaima Khan joined the Bush Foundation in 2015 and is a Manager with the Community Innovation team. She helps develop the Foundation's relationships within the community, identifies investment opportunities and learns from grantees and community partners. Naaima was once a grantwriter herself and has led program evaluation/diversity and inclusion work at the Foundation.
Naaima holds a master’s degree in Public Policy with a concentration in nonprofit studies from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to starting at the Foundation, she was a program officer with Greater Twin Cities United Way, working on the issue area of homelessness. Naaima serves on the board of the Islamic Resource Group and volunteers for her mosque.
When she’s not reading or speaking about equity and inclusion, you can find her fleshing out ideas for her book or watching historical docuseries.
