Ro Adebiyi was born in Nigeria and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, Ro attended law school there before moving to Minnesota as a senior staff member of the 2012 Obama Reelection Campaign. Since 2014 Armando Camacho has served as president and CEO of Opportunity Partners, a nonprofit disability organization that helps advance the quality of life for people with disabilities. Previously, Armando was president of Neighborhood House in St. Paul, a district administrator for the St. Paul Public School District and a principal for the Minneapolis Public School District. Armando graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in special education and he holds a master’s degree in education. Learn more about Armando.
The board of directors sets the overall direction for our work and is responsible for major strategy and policy decisions. Ro and Armando will begin their service at the next quarterly board meeting in May.
