Sam Strong, 2010 Native Nations Rebuilder, faced challenging battles in his 31 years, including alcoholism and cancer. His latest challenge is different: carrying four Spirit Staves representing sobriety, suicide prevention, youth and the Ojibwe language, for 200 miles during the 19th Anishinabe Spirit Run.
