MinnPost aims to increase accountability of government and public institutions, foster civic engagement and conversations, and illuminate the human lives affected by decision-making in Minnesota. The newsroom covers a range of state and local topics, including the environment, criminal justice, housing, public safety, racial disparities, health equity, urban planning, and arts & culture — with a particular focus on how decisions are made and how public policies impact the lives of Minnesotans. Through a media sponsorship, we are able to support local news media and reach people throughout Minnesota to make them aware of our program offerings and resources throughout the year.

Coverage and writings on K-12 education issues, best practices and overall reform efforts
Add to the public's knowledge and appreciation of courageous leadership around the state by writing one piece per month, profiling Minnesotans who are exercising leadership to wrestle with specific challenges, and addressing why and how they're doing it
