Shared Capital Cooperative will develop and test a commons-based approach to acquire and steward a network of farms across Minnesota focused on supporting BIPOC farmers. This approach would enable farmers to access affordable land long-term while advancing shared agro-ecological stewardship and supporting strong community ownership. The design process would establish the social and operational systems needed to establish a successful farm enterprise within vibrant communities.
