To complete a masters in public health epidemiology in order to use electronic technology, principles of epidemiologya nd biostatistics to improve patient care at community clinics

To complete a master's degree in marriage and family therapy at Adler Graduate School, become a licensed marriage and family therapis, and study at the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota

To become a leader in a movement to promote community based primary health care

To develop knowledge and contacts that will enhance mission to improve quality care in diabetes and other chronic diseases

To develop the managerial and organizational skills to effectively promote and expand an evidence-based early childhood literacy program into health clinics throughout the region

To expand training in critical care medicine in order to bring these skills to smaller, rural communities

To gain expertise in child maltreatment, leadership skills and to become a better medical director
