Welcome to our new managing director of investments

We’re excited to welcome Carol Peterfeso, our new managing director of investments to the Foundation! Her official first day with us is Monday, November 7.

We’re excited to welcome Carol Peterfeso, our new managing director of investments to the Foundation! Her official first day with us is Monday, November 7.

Carol most recently served as the founder and managing partner of Dolomite Capital Partners, a consulting firm specializing in providing investment management services to institutional investors. Prior to forming Dolomite Capital Partners in 2021, she was chief treasury and investment officer at the University of St. Thomas where she was responsible for investing the University’s operating cash and endowment as well as managing the University’s long-term debt.

Prior to her chief treasury and investment officer role, Carol was assistant treasurer at the University of St. Thomas and began her career working for Norwest Bank Minneapolis (currently Wells Fargo).

Carol serves as a member of the Investment Advisory Council for the Minnesota State Board of Investments, an Investment Committee member for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and an adviser for a Minneapolis-based family office.

Carol graduated from the College of St. Thomas with a BA in Business and Finance and received her MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. She also earned her Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. Carol is a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities and lives in Woodbury with her husband. She has three children and two grandchildren. Carol enjoys hiking, pickleball and traveling.
