Tom Schreier currently serves as the Founding Director of the Inspired Leadership Initiative at the University of Notre Dame. This is a distinctive full-year program designed to allow accomplished individuals who have completed their traditional careers to discover, discern and design their next act.
Prior to his role at Notre Dame, Tom held senior leadership roles in the financial services and transportation industries, most recently co-leading Nuveen Investments before selling it to TIAA in 2015.
Currently Tom serves as Chair Emeritus of Allina Health, is a Director of Piper, Sandler Companies and serves as a Trustee of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Tom’s education includes a B.A. in Economics and German from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A from Harvard University.
