Yong Her join the Bush Foundation in 2011 and served in a variety of roles until joining the Strategy and Learning team. Prior to working at Bush, she was at Augsburg College, Center for Global Education, working to give opportunities to students and adults to do learning trips abroad. During her time there, she had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico, which helped broaden her understanding of cultures, economies and peoples. She’s a graduate of Metropolitan State University and deeply appreciative of the professors and education which serves the community.
Yong lives in the Metro area. She loves to explore the natural resources of Minnesota, usually in the company of family and friends. Mushrooming and container gardening are her favorite spring to fall activities. And the yearly trips to the scenic North Shore are a must.
