Communications Program Director

As the Communications Program Director, Vivian provides strategic leadership for the Foundation’s communication activities. She promotes the grant opportunities and the great work of our grantees through the Foundation’s website, newsletter, and social media. Vivian joined the Bush Foundation in 2020.

Before joining the Foundation, she worked at consumer goods companies, first with Procter & Gamble then General Mills. Vivian has a range of experience in different functions. After beginning her career in sales and logistics, she shifted to marketing and communications strategy.

She serves on Greater MSP’s “Be MSP” initiative that supports retention of professionals of color and St. Catherine University’s Business Advisory Council. She is an advisor to AscendNAAMBA, an Asian business professional organization. Vivian also founded CultureTastes, which creates and curates authentic global and ethnic experiences to bring a taste of the world to the Twin Cities.

Vivian has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She enjoys cooking dancing, biking, puzzles, and international travel.
