Visual, virtual reality start-up, connects with Juxtaposition Arts, and visited the Foundation to share their vision for the future of virtual reality.

Anita Patel, vice president of Racial Justice and Public Policy Programs at the YWCA of Minneapolis, will join the Bush Foundation as Leadership programs director. Patel will oversee both the Bush Fellowship and Leadership Network grant programs.

Cohort participants will each receive an unrestricted grant of $100,000 and work with Foundation to articulate the challenges and opportunities associated with their efforts to meaningfully engage people in the arts and integrate the arts into public life. The insights will help inform the Foundation’s future work in the arts.

The Bush Foundation welcomes new board members Dr. Kathleen Annette and Paul Batcheller. Annette, from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is the president of the Blandin Foundation. Batcheller, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is partner and co-founder of venture capital firm PrairieGold Venture Partners.
