North Dakota Advisory Committee
Cesar Alvarez is an intergovernmental affairs liaison with the Office of Four Bears Council Representative V. Judy Brugh. He is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes born and raised on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in western North Dakota.
Jodi Bruns is a leadership and civic engagement specialist for NDSU Extension. She lives on a farm in Dickey County, North Dakota.
Chad Harrison is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and is the executive director of Standing Rock Housing Authority. He is from Fort Yates, North Dakota. Chad is a Native Nation Rebuilder Cohort 6.
Scott Holdman is the chief transformation officer for the Impact Foundation. He lives in Fargo, North Dakota.
Emily Holth is the founder and owner of Sustainable Solution Services, LLC, a small business specializing in Professional Conflict Resolution. Emily and her husband, Jonathan, own a coffee shop in downtown Grand Forks called the Urban Stampede as well as The Toasted Frog restaurants in three cities in North Dakota.
Marshall Johnson is the Interim Chief Conservation Officer For Audubon and has served as the vice president and executive director for Audubon Dakota. Marshall was raised in California and Texas, before moving to the upper Midwest. Marshall currently lives in Fargo, ND.
Megan Laudenschlager is the founder and executive director of Strengthen ND. Megan lives in Minot, North Dakota. She is a 2014 Bush Fellow.
Deb Nelson is the founder and president of DLN Consulting Inc. Deb lives in Dickinson, North Dakota.

Marc Benoist is the director for the Office of Planning and Economic Development for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Marc lives on the Cheyenne River Reservation.
Ty Eschenbaum currently serves as a member of the team for AI Development Solutions, a full-service firm that brings an experienced team of elite professionals to work for rural America. Ty grew up on a row-crop farm and seedstock Charolais cattle operation in east central South Dakota and currently lives in Arlington, South Dakota.
Melissa Goodwin went to school for chemistry and math and has had a variety of experiences. Currently she helps clinicians invent and commercialize healthcare innovations. She lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Melissa is a 2012 Bush Fellow.
Terry Nebelsick recently retired as superintendent of Huron School District in South Dakota. He’s also had numerous opportunities over the years to be a lay-speaker in churches and a motivational speaker for schools and organizations – focusing on creating “student-centered schools,” and the necessary characteristics of leadership. He lives in Huron, South Dakota.
Janet Routzen is a juvenile judge for the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Court System. Her home community is Antelope. She lives in Rosebud, South Dakota.

Melissa Waldner is a business partner specialist at Lake Area Technical College in Watertown, South Dakota. Melissa is originally from the Twin Cities and currently lives outside of Webster, South Dakota.
